How Biden’s Keystone Kill Dashed Workers’ Hopes to Catch a Badly Needed Break

POLITICS & POLICY

It was about a year ago that Valarie Zupanik was laid off from her job doing payroll for a Montana trucking company. She’d worked there for a decade. She hadn’t seen it coming.

But finding new work didn’t take long.

Baker, the small Montana city near the North Dakota border where Zupanik lives, was in the path of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, which was expected to pump 800,000 barrels of oil a day from Alberta, Canada, to the Gulf Coast. Within a few weeks of losing her job with the trucking company, Zupanik, 58, got a new one doing administrative work

  1. Joe Biden doesn’t know the difference between the Keystone pipeline and Keystone beer but his leftist handlers sure as hell do=the time is drawing nearer my friends.

  2. Yes you too, who have worked your industry for over 30 years can learn to code. If dementia jo can take poor black girls out of poverty and teach them to code so can he do this for you. Sign up and often to the dementia jo school of code.

  3. I really don’t understand why any of the Union workers are upset at “Unca” Joe Biden! He’s just following his Party’s Platform, after all! Anybody who actually VOTED for this clown, and his little dog sidekick, is either a Liberal Progressive Socialist Democrat, a flat out liar and idiot, or a thief. Just what did these Union workers expect from a political party that is hell bent on destroying our country?

  4. …and we have razor wire around the capital…….the borders is open and Pima county had nearly empty hospital wards a month ago….and now the ICU Covid19 wards are filling up again….with people that don’t speak English…..hmmm does anybody know “what’s going on?”

  5. ….and the crude oil in North Dakota and Canada has to get to an ocean port for transport, or to be refined, so now with the Keystone Pipeline no longer available for transport of the oil, what are we going to do….use trucks to transport it? …I think we need more tank trucks and maybe those 10,000 workers need to get their CDL’s so they can haul the oil….and what POLLUTION cost will we have? ….with THOUSANDS of tank trucks running across “the plains” daily…..is anybody listening….?

  6. Joe’s decision shouldn’t have caught anyone off guard. He said he would nix Keystone and he did. I’m betting that a lot people associated with the project went ahead and voted for Joe anyway. No point in crying over spilled milk now. Next time maybe think through your decision when you vote.
