Martial law is soon on the way for Texas, as Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered 1,000 National Guard troops to station around the state in order to deal with “post-election disturbances.”
Part of the political ruling class’ efforts to militarize the streets of America under the “new normal,” Abbott announced that Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio will all start seeing these troops materialize as soon as this coming weekend, just a few days before the election.
“If you thought the possibility of a national mask mandate was bad, you probably won’t like the idea of martial law: coming soon to a city near you,” warns Mac Slavo, writing for SHTFplan.com.
Though Abbott has yet to make a formal announcement himself, Maj. Gen. Tracy Norris has reportedly already been directed to draft contingency plans for Texas’ five largest cities in the event that violence ensues on and after Nov. 3.
National Guard spokesman Brandon Jones provided few details as to what might be coming, though he did confirm that troops will begin to appear throughout Texas this upcoming weekend.
“Troops will likely be sent to places in the cities where flare ups and protests are going to happen either as a result of the outcome or the presence of extremists on either side before,” Slavo adds.
“The details remain sketchy so far, including how many troops will be sent to each city.”
Are Americans being groomed to accept full-on martial law in the very near future?
According to Slavo, all of this talk about the National Guard swarming the streets of America is grooming and prepping Americans to accept full-on martial law, which would seem to be the next phase of the new normal.
Following the death of George Floyd, Abbott sent Guard troops to protect historic landmarks such as the Alamo, as well as to the state capitol building in Austin. Now with the election looming, he is doing it again under the guise of securing the cities of Texas.
While we certainly support our military men and women, we cannot help but see the same pattern happening, where militarized law enforcement officers are increasingly making their presence known in civilian areas, and especially those being struck by violent “protests.”
“Just more showmanship and political stunts,” wrote one SHTFplan.com commenter.
“Create a crisis. Superman Complex. Cui Bono? In case anyone doubts that, consider that the Deep State and military have been orchestrating exercises for exactly this event again, in yet another mystifying coincidence! Imagine that! This is getting too tiring and monotonous.”
Another argued that a national civil unrest force like the one Abbott is sending to cities in Texas is necessary because “the local police are useless at controlling civil unrest.”
This same commenter went on to criticize local police forces for allegedly hiring officers who are incapable of dealing with real crime.
Back in August, Slavo warned about the events that have been transpiring all year long that are paving the way for full-scale martial law. He explained that the “psychological operations and inorganic scenarios” we are being “bombarded by” are “designed to divide us further.”
“This is not a good sign for the United States going forward,” Slavo added.
“Police violence against innocents is wrong. Looting and rioting are wrong. If we ever hope to get our freedom back and have a life that’s not lived in a mental prison, we need to wake up and stop taking sides when both are wrong.”
Slavo further emphasized that people need to look past “their own indoctrination into the left / right paradigm illusion to wake up and realize violence against other humans is wrong no matter who does it.”
