When you think of Oregon, you probably think of the left wing riots that have been happening in Portland for months.
It’s easy to forget that it’s a big state and not everyone who lives there is a left wing radical.
Some people there are sick of it, and are trying to make parts of the state leave for Idaho.
It’s happening in five counties.

Five Oregon counties to vote on leaving state, escaping to ‘Greater Idaho’
Five Oregon counties will ask voters in the next election whether they want to detach from the deep-blue state and join neighboring red-state Idaho.
Move Oregon’s Border, also known as Greater Idaho, confirmed Tuesday that the initiative to move swaths of largely rural eastern and southern Oregon into Idaho qualified for the May 18 special election ballot in five counties: Baker, Grant, Lake, Malheur and Sherman.
In Baker County, organizers far exceeded the 496 signatures required by submitting 746, with the clerk reporting that 630 were accepted. The county population is about 16,000.
“Oregon is a powder keg because counties that belong in a red-state like Idaho are ruled by Portlanders,” said Mike McCarter, president of Move Oregon’s Border, in a statement.
He cited the impact of Democratic Gov. Kate Brown’s novel coronavirus restrictions; ongoing Antifa unrest in Portland; a state task force’s unsuccessful effort to prioritize “Black, Indigenous and people of color” for novel coronavirus vaccines, and what he described as the state legislature’s bias in favor of Portland over rural communities.
“This state protects Antifa arsonists, not normal Oregonians, it prioritizes one race above another for vaccines and program money and in the school curriculum, and it prioritizes Willamette Valley above rural Oregon,” Mr. McCarter said.

Amen to that! The propaganda being pushed in these democratic States is Devastating to this Country.
Hopefully we can separate into two countries and let the left go its way. Then in about thirty/forty years they will come crawling back after their country has imploded. I would only take back the parts that had instituted real reforms and returned to a government of, by and for all the people. I doubt we would ever let some areas back in. We would need to strictly control immigration from these leftist areas and do a background check and a probationary period on each one. Let’s do it; what are we waiting for???

Article IV, section 3 of the US Constitution: “No new state shall be formed by the junction of two or more states or parts of states without the consent of the legislatures of the states concerned as well as of the Congress.”
Idaho might want it, but neither Oregon nor Congress would.
They’re not trying to make a New State, they’re trying to redraw rhe existing state lines. Not sure how that process would work. I would think it would be between the 2 state legislators and leaving out Congress. Let’s see what happens.
We’re truly upset with this, Idahoians. If these counties want to join our state, Then they need to move out of there state and find resident into another state, but to bar bomb us and to want Idaho to accommodate them plus then change the shape of our state is horrendous. We have so many family’s that own businesses that have built there companies around our state and the shape of it. This whole change will be devastating to them, it will financially ruin a lot of businesses. Why just to make these other counties happy. No we don’t want this to happen, we want these other states to fight to make there states better.
Mrs Moose has the limited brain reasoning power of a real moose. What’s more important, the shape of some land, or the American way of life of many people? What would Mrs Moose say if her state was square? Move to Oregon Mrs Moose. Your mentality seems to fit better there.
You only need to circle the large cities that are Democrap ruined and make them their own shitole states and let them deal with sanctuary, and self destruction.
Arizona should think of doing the same. either split the state in two or annex certain counties to another state. The only problem is that we are surrounded by California, New Mexico and Nevada. I guess Nevada would be the most logical state. Sure would not want to be part of California or New Mexico. Best would be to split the state into Northern Arizona and Southern Arizona.

I love this. I truly would like to see this happen to the entire country. Let the left have their liberal areas and let us conservatives have our areas. They leave us alone; we leave them alone; they elect their president and leaders and we elect ours. They are not allowed to enter our area and we will not enter their area. Wow! I would love this!
Can you blame these counties? If I lived there I’d be doing everything in my power to get my A.. out of there. Who wants to live in that hole?
