Very pregnant wife of Eagles star to bring 2 OB/GYN doctors to Super Bowl, just in case

The Kelce family has a couple of exciting things happening soon. Jason Kelce, the 35-year-old star center for the Philadelphia Eagles, will soon play in his second Super Bowl, and his 29-year-old wife, Kylie Kelce, will soon give birth to the couple’s third child.

The problem is that both exciting things could happen on the same day. Jason and the rest of the Eagles will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday. Kylie Kelce is 38 weeks pregnant and due any day.

Luckily, Kylie has a backup plan, in case she goes into labor during the big game. She has already made arrangements to bring two OB/GYN doctors with her to the game as guests so that she can cheer on her husband in person while having peace of mind about her upcoming delivery.

Initial reports suggested that Kylie planned to bring just one doctor, but she has since revised that plan and decided to go with two. “They’re both my OBs on a regular basis, but I didn’t necessarily want one to be by themselves,” Kylie said. “All hands on deck.”

Kylie’s devotion to her husband and family has even prompted one company to give her a sponsorship. Frida, a company that offers pregnancy- and parenting-related products, has placed a full-page ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer, naming Kylie the Super Bowl’s real MVP, the “Most Valuable Pusher.”

An Instagram post from Frida made an apt, if graphic, comparison between Mr. and Mrs. Kelce’s upcoming responsibilities. “So as [Jason] pushes that football through his legs, [Kylie] could be pushing something twice as big through hers,” the post stated. “And THAT’S what deserves a sponsorship.”

The Kelces are already the proud parents of two daughters: Wyatt, 3, and Elliotte, who turns 2 next month. Baby number three is also a girl, but the parents are still trying to settle on a name. Jason reportedly suggested naming her Super, should she arrive on Sunday, but Kylie called that idea “one of the most absurd things I’ve ever heard of in life.” However, Kylie did say that they might consider “making her initials S.B. or something related to the Super Bowl, just as sort of a tribute,” though she added that “nothing is set in stone.”

As heartwarming as the story of Kylie and her unborn baby is, it’s not even the only interesting story for the Kelce family this Super Bowl. While Jason Kelce will be snapping the ball for the Eagles on Sunday, his younger brother, 33-year-old Travis Kelce, will be lining up as a tight end for the Chiefs, making this the first Super Bowl in history to feature two brothers on opposing teams.

The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET. Jason and the Eagles, who won it all six years ago, are currently favored by 1.5.
