Elon Musk Introduces Unexpected “New CEO of Twitter” – Claims He is Better than Parag Agrawal

US

Back in December, Elon Musk announced that he would step down as Twitter’s CEO after a poll he conducted didn’t turn out in his favor.

Shortly after attending the World Cup in Qatar, Musk took to Twitter and asked his followers, “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.”

After 12 hours of voting, the poll ended and the final results were 57.5% of users on Twitter wanted Musk to step down as the head of Twitter and 42.5% wanted him to keep the reigns.

Over 17 million people voted on Elon’s poll, which is believed to be the largest poll conducted on Twitter ever. On the other hand, many people thought that Twitter bots were voting to remove Elon Musk from the platform.

Elon Musk said he will resign as Twitter’s chief executive officer as soon as someone “foolish enough to take the job.”

Once he finds a replacement, Musk said he will run the software and servers teams.

On Tuesday, Elon Musk surprised everyone by appointing a “new CEO of Twitter” and he claims that this person is superior to Parag Agrawal.

Elon Musk trolled the internet and jokingly introduced his pet dog, Floki, a Shiba Inu, as the new CEO of Twitter.

The billionaire shared a photo of Floki, dressed as Steve Jobs and seen seated at a desk with his pawprint signature stamped on Twitter letterhead.

“The new CEO of Twitter is amazing,” Musk wrote. “So much better than that other guy!”

Musk posted another two tweets showing Floki, now wearing with eyeglasses, sitting over his executive’s desk.

“He’s great with numbers!” Musk wrote in one tweet, adding “And has style,” in another tweet.

The tweets comes after Musk’s recent comments at the World Government Summit conference in Dubai, when he said a new CEO should be in charge of Twitter and that he expects to have one in place by the end of 2023.

“I’m guessing probably towards the end of this year should be good timing to find someone else to run the company because I think it should be in a stable position around the end of this year,” Musk said the World Government Summit in Dubai.
