Babylon Bee CEO Says Slack CANCELED Libs of TikTok Account, Gave Vague Explanation Why

News & Politics

Libs hate exposés of woke leftists, and Slack is apparently caving to the outcries. Slack suspended the work channel of popular Twitter account Libs of TikTok but has not clarified why.

Libs of TikTok’s creator Chaya Raichik was suspended by Slack as of Feb. 24. While Slack’s justification was vague, Raichik tweeted that her work to expose the radical LGBTQ agenda and sexual content being pushed on kids by leftists was behind the suspension.

Libs of TikTok retweeted Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon’s Feb. 25 tweet of a screenshot from a Slack email. “We are writing to let you know that we have suspended your workspace, lott-chat.slack.com, for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy,” the purported email said.

The Slack email did not clarify further what specific policy violation occurred and promised Libs of TikTok a refund for her Slack payment and “a copy of the data stored in your Slack.”

Dillon noted Feb. 25 that the Salesforce Customer Success account had responded to his tweet about Libs of TikTok’s suspension with the comment, “Hello Seth! Salesforce/Slack team is looking into this issue.” Unfortunately, Dillon said, with a screenshot of the Salesforce comment, Libs of TikTok has not been restored and the Salesforce tweet has been “deleted.” Slack and Salesforce are in partnership.

Libs of TikTok quote tweeted The Post Millennial’s report on her Slack suspension on Feb. 25 too with the comment, “.@SlackHQ is angry that an account is working to protect childhood innocence by educating people about mutilation surgeries, porn in schools, and inappropriate adult entertainment being presented to kids.”

Libs of TikTok is no stranger to censorship, as MRC Free Speech America’s unique CensorTrack database can show. In May 2022, for instance, Meta-owned Instagram suspended Raichik’s account for no specific reason. Facebook also disabled and then restored Libs of TikTok’s page in August 2022.

Slack responded to MRC’s request for comment by indicating that Libs of TikTok did supposedly violate the platform’s policies and linking to a Feb. 23 release on “Slack’s Policies Against Hatred and Violence,” including allegedly “discriminatory” content.
