The network news this week did a lot of hiding new details on the Biden family influence-peddling business. House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer gained access to banking records that revealed more than a million dollars transferred from a Chinese energy company through a Biden family associate and into accounts connected to President Biden’s family — to Hunter Biden, the president’s brother James Biden, and Hallie Biden, Beau Biden’s widow.
Meanwhile Jen Psaki inspired laugh riots by saying MSNBC has a very high standard with facts uttered on air. NewsBusters evening-news watcher Kevin Tober joins the show and we run through Joy Reid’s wacky outbursts of the week that would disturb an actual “independent fact-checker.”
For example, Joy falsely claimed Republicans want to prevent black history from being taught and stop “discussing the existence of gay people.” She also claimed there is no porny material in public schools. In addition, Psaki herself claimed President Biden was a “night owl” who didn’t normally work at 9 am like most people. But a 2021 CNN article claimed Biden is an early riser who’s in the office by 9.
