A group of juveniles surrounded, beat up, and stole from a 15-year-old boy on a Philadelphia subway platform last month, according to a blotter posted Wednesday.
What are the details?
Police said the victim was on the Septa Platform at 1400 John F. Kennedy Boulevard around 4 p.m. March 10 when several juveniles surrounded him. Police said one of the males punched the victim in the face and took his phone while the other males hit and kicked the victim and took other items from him.

Police are looking for help from the public to identify the suspects but said if you see them, do not approach them and call 911 immediately. To submit a tip by phone, you can dial or text 215-686-TIPS (8477), police said. You can also use an electronic form to submit a tip anonymously. Police emphasized that all tips will be confidential.

‘Suspect 3 looks like a baby!!’
Social media commenters seem both horrified and fed-up with rampant crime in Philadelphia, and more than a few are calling out the apparent young ages of the suspects — particularly the male in the middle of composite image wearing the “1977” hoodie.

- “Kid in the middle looks like he still has his baby teeth,” another commenter observed. “So sad.”
- “They look like children, like 10 years old,” another user remarked.

- “They know there aren’t any consequences. They’ll continue to do this,” another commenter said. “They need a good scare and harsh punishment. Make an example out of them.”
- “I see Septa officers all the time at the stairwell at Dilworth Park, never walking platforms or concourses, and all on their phones,” another commenter claimed. “Not even looking.”
- [They’re] cowards with nothing else better to do in life,” another user stated. “What happened to going to a playground or having a lil’ part time job? Once somebody defends themself from one of those idiots, then [they’re] in the wrong smdh.”
