A California high school teacher has been placed on leave after a video surfaced of her telling anatomy students where sex toys are located at Target as well as about prostate-related sexual pleasure.

The El Dorado High School teacher was placed on administrative leave following backlash from parents over video taken in her anatomy and physiology class, a spokesperson for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District told the Orange County Register.
A district spokesperson identified the physiology and AP environmental science teacher in question as Judy Rehburg, the paper said.
The secretly recorded video has been shared on social media.
The video shows the teacher telling her class that “you don’t have to go inside the booty hole; you can actually just push on the seam, and that stimulates the prostate gland as well. … They apparently really like that. … So that’s why for male-in-male, anal sex is still very pleasurable because of the fact that it hits the prostate, and there’s a lot of nerve endings in your booty as well. So, the girls — the G-spot, prostate, they’re the equivalent to each other.”
She continues: “Target has ’em now; sex toys. … Seriously, if you go to Target and go where the tampons and pads are, they have — they just look like a little box. … There’s, like, a Velcro front to the box, you open it up, and then — bam! — sex toys.” She adds that CVS “has ’em too! A lot of ’em!”
The Register said a syllabus for an anatomy and physiology class on Rehburg’s school website indicates a unit covering the reproductive system and pregnancy could be included. But the paper said the syllabus isn’t dated, and it’s unclear if it’s the most current outline of her lesson plans.
The California Board of Education approved statewide comprehensive sex education laws to include inclusivity for health education under the California Healthy Youth Act in 2016, the paper added, noting that the law was modified in 2019 to include LGBTQ+ sexual health education.
What happened next?
The paper said parents filed an official complaint with the school district, and Rehburg was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the district’s investigation.
“District employees are trusted to exercise professional judgment when deciding whether or not a particular issue is suitable for study or discussion,” district communications director Alyssa Griffiths said, according to the Register. “In the classroom, employees act on behalf of the district and are expected to follow the adopted curriculum, and they should not advocate personal opinions or viewpoints.”
The Association of Placentia-Linda Educators, which represents Rehburg, declined to comment, the Register reported, adding that Rehburg could not be immediately reached. The paper also said school board members and El Dorado High principal Joey Davis shared the district’s statement.
‘FreeJudy’
A post on the Instagram account @freejudy insists the video of the in-class lesson has been taken out of context, and that Rehburg was “simply answering students’ questions anatomically” — and that the questions were submitted anonymously, the paper said.
The post added that parents are required to sign a syllabus at the beginning of the year that outlines the content discussed in the class, the Register added.
“This is everybody’s favorite teacher,” Molly Kurzbard, a parent of an El Dorado High student, told the paper. “She’s kind. She loves nature, plants, birds, and all biology.”
Kurzbard’s daughter, she told the Register, learned similar material in Rehburg’s class years ago.
During a Tuesday school board meeting, multiple parents spoke out during the public comment period in support of Rehburg, the paper said, adding that a few said they disapproved of her teaching and asked for her dismissal from the school.
