Ron DeSantis finds out who likely has Elon Musk’s vote in 2024 — and his response is PERFECTION

News & Politics

You may have heard by now that Elon Musk said on Twitter Wednesday that he’s “leaning toward” voting for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election. When asked about Musk’s suggested endorsement during a press conference in Madeira Beach, Florida, DeSantis managed to both avoid committing to a 2024 presidential run ahead of Florida’s gubernatorial election and to provide some much-needed comic relief.

“I’m focused on 2022, but with Elon Musk, what I would say is, I welcome support from
African Americans. What can I say?” DeSantis joked.

Musk grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, before moving to Canada and then the United States. In May, the South African-born billionaire said
he plans to vote for Republican candidates in the next election cycle for the first time.

Naturally, people on the left immediately lost their minds over whether or not Musk can “literally” be considered an African-American and were quick to accuse both DeSantis and Musk of, you guessed it, racism.

On “The Rubin Report” Wednesday, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin shared the news that Musk voted for Republican Mayra Flores, who won the special election for Texas’ 34th Congressional District, and predicted a “red wave” in the 2022 midterm elections. He went on to talk about Musk’s suggestion that he’d support DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election.
