What a couple of weeks. My good friend Kevin Downey Jr. and I have been in the comedy game for a very long time and this ulcer-inducing presidency of Joe Biden’s is making it more difficult by the hour to find the humor in anything.
Just a heads up, dear friends: Kevin and I recorded this the evening before the attacks at the airport in Kabul. While there are many situations where you will find us to be the most irreverent people in the room, this would never be that kind of situation. We have both been all over the world to entertain the U.S. military and have nothing but the utmost respect for our troops. I didn’t want you to think we were ignoring what happened.
Having made sure everyone understands that, we did talk about the ongoing nightmare that is Joe Biden and his handling of the situation in Afghanistan. Kevin and I were in agreement: this clown needs to get the old vaudeville hook and be yanked off of the world stage.
Because the only choices sane people in America have these days are laugh, cry, or liver damage, we chose to laugh. There may be a hint of liver damage from time to time as well.
In an effort to make the show more structured, we trotted out a couple of new segments. There will be more to follow in the coming weeks.
