New York Woman Arrested For Giving Teen COVID Vaccine IN HER HOME Without Parent’s Permission

A New York woman with no medical qualifications was arrested for giving a teenager a COVID vaccine in her home — without parental consent.

Laura Parker Russo, 54, was arrested by Nassau County Police after the mother of the teen reported what she had done to her 17-year-old son.

The incident took place at Russo’s home on New Year’s Eve at her home in Sea Cliff, Long Island.

“After an investigation, officials discovered that Russo is not a medical professional or authorized to administer vaccines. It is unclear how she had obtained the vaccine, and which brand it was,” the Daily Mail reports.

It is also unclear how she knows the teenager.

Russo has only been charged with “unauthorized practice of a profession” at this time. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 21.

Only Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine is approved for use in children 5 through 17. It has not been made public what vaccine Russo used on the child.
