‘Have you any idea how furious I am?’ Elon Musk’s mom is mad at Biden

Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk indicated on X that she is “furious” with President Joe Biden, who she accused of wanting to stop her son from improving the world.

“I am the mother of @elonmusk,” she noted in a tweet. “His goal is to make this world a better place. @POTUS wants to stop him. Have you any idea how furious I am? People in other countries are proud of Elon and do not understand the US President’s motive. Please tell me how I should answer them.”

She made the comments in response to a post from FCC commissioner Brendan Carr, who was one of the FCC commissioners who dissented from the FCC’s move to deny Starlink, which offers satellite internet, subsidies to supply internet service to rural areas.

“Indeed, the Commission’s decision today to revoke a 2020 award of $885 million to Elon Musk’s Starlink—an award that Starlink secured after agreeing to provide high-speed Internet service to over 640,000 rural homes and businesses across 35 states—is a decision that cannot be explained by any objective application of law, facts, or policy,” Carr wrote in his statement of dissent to the FCC’s decision.

“In the end, today’s decision mirrors many of the same missteps that the Biden Administration is making in its implementation of other, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure initiatives. The Biden Administration is choosing to prioritize its political and ideological goals at the expense of connecting Americans. We can and should reverse course. But that is not what the agency chooses today. Accordingly, I dissent,” he declared.
