Hillary Clinton responds to Trump indictment news by advertising ‘BUT HER EMAILS’ hats

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton responded to the news of an indictment against former President Donald Trump by advertising “BUT HER EMAILS” hats.

“Bringing this back in light of recent news: Get a limited-edition But Her Emails hat and support @onwardtogether groups working to strengthen our democracy,” Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump, tweeted.

Onward Together’s LinkedIn profile says, “Founded by Hillary Clinton, Onward Together is dedicated to lifting up emerging organizations and leaders who are fighting for our shared progressive values and defending our democracy. By supporting groups that are mobilizing voters, safeguarding voting rights, and recruiting candidates for office, we are committed to help build a fairer, more inclusive America for generations to come.”

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina responded to Clinton’s post by tweeting, “Gloating that there is a different standard of justice and that you are above the law, is next level bulls***.”

“Yes, we do see the double standard, thanks so much for the reminder!” Ben Shapiro wrote.

“Hillary Clinton gloats about getting away with taking, hiding and destroying classified information,” Richard Grenell tweeted.

Business mogul Elon Musk has said that it appears the justice system is more interested in targeting Trump than other political figures.

“There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics. Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust,” Musk wrote.

Trump has said that he is innocent and that he has been summoned to appear at a federal courthouse on Tuesday.

Special counsel Jack Smith said during remarks on Friday that an indictment unsealed on Friday charges “Trump with felony violations of our national security laws” and “participating in a conspiracy to obstruct justice.”
