The Thing That Cannot Be Denied

Happy Day After Thanksgiving, everyone. No, I mean that.

Some links below deal with President Trump’s visit to Afghanistan, and that’s a good thing to discuss on this Black Friday.

In modern American society we have a tendency to focus on the negative. Just look at online reviews of almost anything. People who are blessed with abundance LOVE to let you know about that one time that there wasn’t a chocolate on the pillow when they ordered turn-down service.

In recent months, my default with this president has been to focus on the positive. He makes it easier than most would think, and yesterday he made it really, really easy.

President Trump has an extraordinary devotion to American troops. It is easy to see in his face in every interaction with them. He may come off as a cold New Yorker most of the time, but he has nothing but unrestrained love for those who put their lives on the line to defend liberty.

Commander-in-Chief is a daunting and serious role. Lives are at stake.

This president values and respects those lives quite openly.

Adam Schiff doesn’t get how much that means to the American voters.

My Black Friday Sale Because I Have a Kid In College

As one who loves to celebrate capitalism, I’ve decided to do a Black Friday sale on my ebooks.

The first one, Don’t Let the Hippies Shower, is a critical analysis of public education and academia that was based on a couple of jokes in my stage act. I make the point, but I make it funny.

Straight Outta Feelings is a book I wrote about my journey through the 2016 election and its aftermath. As everyone around me achieved peak political angst, I settled into a state of unbelievable calm.

I’m still there, by the way.

And that is why this is all fun for me.
