On Thursday night, Politico published horrifying photos showing hundreds of National Guard troops forced to sleep in a parking lot after they had been mysteriously booted from the U.S. Capitol. It seemed as though the National Guard had served their purpose for Democrats’ post-riot photo ops only to be shoved aside after the Inauguration went off without a hitch. After bipartisan outcry, it appears the National Guard troops have finally gotten the all-clear to head back to the Capitol.
“Just heard that our troops will be moved back inside tonight,” Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) announced on Twitter. “We owe our National Guard and law enforcement officials a debt of gratitude that we can never truly repay. They’ve put everything on the line to protect us. I’m glad to hear they’ll be back indoors tonight.”
Earlier, Scott had shared photos of the National Guard setting up camp in a parking lot, calling the situation “unconscionable & unsafe.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) demanded answers from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
“Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer—why are American troops who are tasked with keeping security at the Capitol being forced to sleep in a parking lot? They deserve to be treated with respect, and we deserve answers,” he tweeted.

Schumer pledged to “get to the bottom of this.”
Other Democrats also expressed outrage.
Sen. Krysten Sinema (D-Ariz.) called the situation “outrageous, shameful, and incredibly disrespectful to the men and women keeping the U.S. Capitol safe and secure.” She offered her office for National Guard troops to sleep in.

Politico reported that thousands of National Guard troops had been “forced to vacate congressional grounds” and had taken “their rest breaks outside and in nearby parking garages, after two weeks of sleepless nights protecting the nation’s capital in the wake of the violent assault on Jan. 6.”
Abrupt orders forced a unit out of the Dirksen Senate Office building on Thursday. “The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops,” Politico reported.
“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” a National Guardsman told Politico.
In the wake of the Capitol riot on January 6, Washington, D.C., has effectively been shut down, with bridges from Virginia blocked and National Guard occupying most streets in the capital. While authorities had reportedly picked up on chatter of threats before the Inauguration, those threats failed to materialize.
While Pelosi had condemned federal law enforcement in the harshest of terms when President Donald Trump deployed them to Portland — comparing them to stormtroopers — she happily shared photos of herself with the National Guard in D.C. after January 6.

I loved the pictures and the video of the National Guards men and women with their backs turned toward the road. And contrary to the MSM spin they were not facing the crowd because there was NO DAMN CROWD anywhere along the route.

According to a lot, I mean a huge number, of people’s and groups comments and reporting “it ain’t over”. Supposedly according to the plan the crimes that we have witnessed since November 3rd and before had to be allowed to fully happen and be documented by thousands of individual, the military Spec Ops. and whomever else was required has now happened. This means that serious crimes had to actually take place for the perpetrators (traitors) to be officially dealt with. Many people, I am one of them, have been feeling frustrated as we watched governors, mayors, election officials and judges basically trample common sense and the law in favor of the criminal Deep State. Pray people. Pray that this massive treason will not go unpunished.

I suspect that the National Guard is under the the authority / auspices of the DOD. After all they can be called up by the DOD whenever needed. Congress has no such power.

The guard was only there because their budgets were threatened. “Your support by sending troops now will be remembered when we discuss your budget.” They were not there for protection or due to threats on Biden. They were there due to threats to them.

The entire voting system was corruption at it’s best by Dems, BLM and Antifa staging the riots in D.C. giving Trump and his tens of millions supporters a black eye. Until the voting system is fixed, the courts fixed, voting will not help get these PIGS now in office, out of office. I wish there was a peaceful answer to all this and still hope there is, but this still isn’t over, especially when people start to lose their God given rights as established and written in our Bill of Rights. My advice, READ the Bill of Rights and compare what they say to today’s Democrat leadership’s agenda.

I spent 8.5 years in the Army and had to sleep on the ground many a time. Nothing new. These are soldiers…yes, they deserve our utmost respect but they know that at times they must sleep in places they’d rather not be in. Take our soldiers at war in Irag/Afghanistan. Think they like sleeping in a fox hole or on some mountain side? No, but they are soldiers and know how to sleep when and where they can. As for Chuck Schumer and Nancy Polosi looking into it….don’t hold your breath.

Actually we citizens need the authority to fire the representatives that are supposed to be serving us, not the other way around. Why is being elected any different than being hired? In the private sector most employees must go through a period of “probation”. During that period they can be fired for any reason whatsoever and removed from the job site. Even after the probationary period their employment /service can still be terminated for any reason. This B.S. that a representative has complete protection until the next election is a farce, created by the political class. If an elected person does not perform to the satisfaction of the employer, in this case we the people, they should be immediately terminated from their position.
May the Lord curse the democrat/communists for their hatred for American soldiers and Americans in general. They stole the election from President Trump and should be charged, prosecuted and sentenced with treason, high crimes & misdemeanors, dereliction of duty and sedition. Their sentence would include death by hanging or firing squad within three days with no exception and with no mercy shown.
