In the almost-year since MSNBC’s The ReidOut was born, NewsBusters readers have seen host Joy Reid and the show foment dangerous and incendiary rhetoric against conservatives and Republicans. Wednesday’s show was one of the worst as Reid and a cast of characters painted right-leaning Americans as terrorists who want to commit mass murder, deny Black people the right to vote, and, if the For the People Act wasn’t passed, it’d be on part with September 11, 2001.
Reid began the show with the tiresome, decades-long liberal media adage: “What is happening to the Republican Party?” But Reid’s explanation grew ugly as she claimed that America and our government “is currently under siege by” a GOP that’s led by “a twice-impeached, one-term President who’s more Jim Jones than George Washington.”
She further explained why no one would dare to even want to allow the right to see the light of day, explaining that tens of millions are demonically possessed by “Trump’s rabbit hole of conspiracy theories, white grievance, and an unquenchable thirst for absolute power” with a future in which there’s “abortion bounty hunting” and “banning books” of anything that mentions slavery or racism.
Reid’s monologue of incitement continued with more explanation of why right-leaning Americans are cur (click “expand”):
It’s a party that’s committed to turning domestic terrorists into martyrs and freedom fighters while launching a crusade against the COVID vaccine and now any vaccine, even if that leaves America more vulnerable to sickness and suffering and death and anyone who’s encouraging you to stay alive by taking the vaccine, well, they’re called neo-Nazis. Remember when these ideas were relegated to some cookie corner of the internet? When erasing a politician’s crime sounded like Putin? Not too long ago, our idea of the Republican fringe were people in tricorner hats getting angry about taxes and a black president. Well, this new fringe ate that fringe for breakfast and it’s taken over the mainstream Republican party. And it all culminates in that new bizarro world, Republican ideology doing everything in their power to make it so hard for you to vote that you can never vote them out. And you know what they call that? A dictatorship. And as in all autocracies, what’s fueling all of it is the chief autocrat’s Big Lie, something Texas State Representative James Talarico took on — head on while standing in the belly of the beast, Fox News.
And at the back end of the 15-minute A-block, Reid asked Lincoln Project adviser/grifter Stuart Stevens about what would happen if liberals failed in passing both the progressive boondoggle For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act fail to become law.
With Reid frequently interjecting to agree, Stevens explained that not only would “the American experiment be in fatal peril, but the GOP would carry out a terror attack on par with September 11, 2001 (click “expand”):
STEVENS: Well, look, I — I think it’s our inability to imagine what will happen —
REID: Yeah.
STEVENS: — which is our greatest danger.
REID: Yeah.
STEVENS: It is a replaying of 9/11 and we cannot imagine what this attack on America — and we have to get out of that.
REID: Yeah.
STEVENS: We call it the American experiment because it could have failed.
REID: Yeah.
STEVENS: It was an experiment.
REID: Yeah.
STEVENS: And it’s up to us to defend that.
REID: Absolutely. Texas State Representative James Talarico, cheers to you and all of the Texas Dems. Xochitl Hinojosa, Stuart Stevens, thank you very much. You guys are great.
In between, it was similarly a total dumpster fire.
After her opening hissy fit, Reid brought in her opening panel of beta male Texas State Rep. James Talarico (D), liberal strategist Xochitl Hinojosa, and Stevens, but it was Talarico who was welcomed like a hero.
Of course, Talarico gave Reid what she wanted to hear as he tied election integrity measures to claims about the 2020 election and said nothing the GOP proposes should be given the light of day because of their “anti-America” and “undemocratic” behavior.
Reid further sucked up to Talarico by painting conservative Texans as rabid fiends, asking him to describe what it’s like to live around an “atmosphere that Republicans have created” that consists of “this zeal against history” and “against voting.”
For her part, Hinojosa praised Talarico and his fellow Lone Star State Democrats for “using every tool in their arsenal to — to stop a voter suppression bill right now and to protect Black and Brown people to make sure that they have the right to vote.”
After Reid reiterated her belief that Washington Democrats were insufficiently sticking it to Republicans (because some, to Reid’s chagrin, see those across the aisle as human beings worth finding common ground on), Stevens offered unsolicited advice for liberals “to nationalize this election” and make H.R. 1/S. 1 (the For the People Act) and voting rights into “something big, something that’s patriotic, people fought and died for to defend.”
If they take Stevens’s advice, Democrats might end up with a result like the one Stevens helped nail down in 2012.
Prior to teeing up Hinojosa and Stevens one last time (when the latter made his 9/11 prediction), Reid went to Talarico with more gaslighting, claiming Republicans are a “greater” “threat” to the existence of America and her citizenry than “any foreign threat at this point.”
Talarico agreed, praising his caucus as having “[stood] up for democracy and voting rights” despite “making tremendous sacrifices.”
Of course, Talarico went full Antifa, insisting the actions of Democrats on voting rights was “nothing compared to the sacrifices that brave Americans from Normandy to Selma had to do to protect the sacred right of people.”

This is pretty funny, but the people that buy into it are even more funny! It’s 2021 EVERYONE in the country should have an ID, even if you don’t drive. Personally I don’t care because we plan on driving to blue states and voting RED! Don’t ypu ask me for ID either!
There is no excuse for anyone not to have identification, it is now required that a SS number is assigned at birth, and in the past the SS card had printed on it: not for identification, but that is now missing, there is not many things citizens can do now without identification. Americans have been assigned and put in a slot, but don’t even know it, so when it comes to voting they complain they cannot get a I.D., well then, lets take away their drivers licence, bank accounts and everything which requires clarification as who they are, maybe that will make them happy, when they cannot even grocery shop because of not having a credit card or some such transaction device which requires identification of who they are to get.
This administration is a 911 waiting to happen!

It is now official: another liberal Democrat has publicly lost her mind. In examining Reid’s statements, it is easy to see the deflection intended by Reid away from the real, true issues, towards the Democrat’s skewed version of truth. In her rant against conservatives, Reid described conservatives as right-leaning terrorists who want to commit mass murder. From what hat did Reid pull that lie? Left wing liberals within the Democratic Party seek to change the constitution with terrorist’s style riots and fear tactics, which is not dissimilar to Nazi action in pre-WWII Germany.
Reid further states right-wing conservatives want to deny Black people the right to vote. Another fabricated falsehood generated by a left wing liar “Hell-Bent” on usurping our government, at any cost! Reid compares Republican opposition to the “For the People Act” to be on part with 911! Another “bold-faced” lie propagandizing conservatives as something they are not. Democrats vehemently oppose “Voter ID” and the “For the People Act” is nothing but legislation to perpetuate Democrat’s intention to arrogate our Republican Form of Democracy and replace it with a Socialist Form of Government.
Reid’s assertion of Republicans seeking to deny Black people the right to vote is a pure lie! Republicans have never denied any citizen of the United States the right to cast a “legal” vote. Republicans do, however, oppose “illegal” voting practiced by Democrats in their quest for absolute power! Voter fraud is difficult to prove and Democrats use this knowledge to continue their “Voter Fraud”. Democrats oppose “Voter ID’ for no other reason than to perpetuate their illegal voting. Americans need IDs for obtaining driver’s licenses, home loans, auto loans, personal loans, creating checking accounts, cashing checks, and acquiring credit/debit cards, so why do Democrats oppose “Voter ID” so vehemently? Democrats lamely claim “Voter ID” will restrict underprivileged Black people the right to vote because of the difficulty in obtaining these “Voter Ids”! That seems absurdly false when one realizes this same demographic of Black people arrange to get Tattoos, have no problems in getting to Social Services to garner more “freebees” from the government, have no problem getting to Wal-Mart where they use their FREE EIP cards to buy more than any Senior citizen living off Social Security benefits can afford. Why is it, to a man/woman, Democrats spout the same lie about the difficulty Black people on Welfare Programs have in obtaining “Voter Ids”, when these same people get anywhere they want to go, with ease, and show up by the thousands when protesting against a government that supports them in every phase of their lives. From paying them to bear babies and perpetuate the Democrat’s voter base, to paying for every aspect of these welfare recipients lives, our government has created a Welfare State where people are paid to do nothing, yet, still they protest against the “Hand-That-Feeds” them!
As for Reid’s September 11, 2001 (911) remark, I hold complete disgust in her stance. Foreign terrorists who hate the United States, its citizens, and Christians the world over conducted that act of violence. How Reid can draw a conclusion of right-leaning conservatives being on part with terrorists who killed thousands of innocent civilians and first responders in New York City and injured thousands more, many with permanent disabilities, is a mystery even Reid cannot explain. These were innocent citizens, conducting business as usual and terrorists destroyed the buildings, thousands of lives, and left New York with the Herculean task of rebuilding damage caused by pure hatred! By comparing the GOP to this act, Reid uttered another lie to deflect our attention away from the Democrat’s real agenda of a socialist take-over of the United States!
Reid further demonstrates her hatred for the United States, its government, and conservatives by stating the government “is currently under siege by a GOP that’s led by a twice-impeached, one-term president who’s more like Jim Jones than George Washington.” What a crop! The more Reid speaks, the more insane she sounds: rambling on about this and that as if she is intelligent enough to know what the truth is! Reid forgets Obama patterned himself after Abraham Lincoln in that he, Obama, issued Executive Orders as if he had the only say-so! Obama was no Lincoln, but that did not stop him from bypassing Congress to have his way! Reid forgets the American taxpayer, i.e. American workers, paid for Michelle’s trip to Hawaii to celebrate a birthday: a sure demonstration of a “power-hungry” politician!
Reid ignore Obama’s treaty with Iran and the fact that Obama did not seek “consult and consent” from Congress before signing the treaty, which is un-constitutional and, therefore, void! Reid also ignored the antics of her beloved leader, Biden, when he traveled to the Ukraine over a dozen times to blackmail the Ukrainian Government to cease all investigations into corruption charges against Burisma Natural Gas Company, partially owned by Chinese entrepreneurs and operating out of Ukraine! Biden spent millions of taxpayer’s dollars on these trips and he blackmailed the Ukrainian Government with promising to withhold a military loan, already approved by Congress, if the Ukrainian Government continued to investigate a corrupt company. Biden illegally interfered with a foreign government by promising to withhold the military loan promised to the Ukraine in their defense against Russia. Biden was helping Russia while Pelosi was impeaching President Trump for his supposed collusion with Russia. It was yet another socialist Democrat lie deflecting our attention from the illegal, power-hungry actions of the Obama administration onto a man who did everything he promised to do while campaigning against Hillary Clinton, President Trump!
Later investigations revealed the true reason Biden expended so much time, money, and energy traveling to Ukraine. It was never about the loan or state‘s issues. It was always about Biden keeping his miscreant son, Hunter Biden, out of jail, once again! Investigators revealed Hinter Biden sat on the Board of Directors for Burisma Natural Gas and Hunter stood to lose thousands of “bribe” money paid by Burisma for his seat on the board and he faced possible “jail” time for his contribution to a corrupt company. Oddly enough, later inquiries into Burisma corruption exposed another famous son sat on the Board of Directors of Burisma, Paul Pelosi, Jr., son of Nancy and Paul Pelosi, Sr.! Speaker Pelosi stood before Congress, the Biden administration, and the citizens of the United States in her zealous attacks on President Trump and vehement quest to impeach President Trump on false charges of colluding with Russian agents to influence the elections in 2016. All the time, money, and hours spent to impeach President Trump were conducted and wasted while Pelosi had full knowledge of actions in Ukraine by the Obama administration, especially Bidens contribution to corrupt policies and influencing a foreign nation‘s government. That sounds like blackmail/collusion and is truly an impeachable offense, yet Speaker Pelosi said nothing about it and made no motion to impeach both Obama and Biden.
In the end, all Pelosi could impeach President Trump on was “Obstruction of Congress” far less an offense as was committed by Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton while serving as President and Biden while serving as Vice President! To add insult to the stupidity of Pelosi’s “Witch-Hunt”, Pelosi refused to transfer her transcripts of President Trump’s impeachment to Congress, making her guilty of “Obstruction of Congress” for which she had just impeached President Trump. Reid also omitted facts of Democrats outnumbering Republicans in The House of Representatives, which is the only reason the House impeached President Trump! It was never about justice and was always about power and Democrat’s quest for more.

Once again, there is no truth to any part of Reid’s interview, yet she pushes on as if she is enlightened, instead of clueless or just a lying, evil soul! It is Democrats who seek to change history, by removing all statues of the Confederacy to remove all symbols of Southern Sovereignty. Liberals who infiltrated our education system have worked decades to erase truths about the Civil War from our classes by removing or rewriting books on that subject, to reflect the liberal view of the Civil War. Our Civil War is as much a part of history as is WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam and, if conservatives will wake up and fight, it will remain that way. This editorial interview by Joy Reid shows how corrupt Democrats are and how far they will go to create a “One-Party” system in the United States. The biggest concern is how many citizens will believe these lies and perpetuate usurping our government because of lies Democrats tell. Politics is not the problem in the United States, ignorance is! Poor, oppressed Cuban citizens are fighting to rid their country of Socialism and the Black community in the United States is fighting to install a Socialistic Form of Government! As I stated, ignorance will defeat us, from within: just as it did the Romans. Perhaps some will read this and wake up realizing the mistake they made in the last election when they voted for Democrats. I hope so!
