VIDEO: William Shatner’s takeaway from space trip is… global warming?

William Shatner is best known for his role in “Star Trek,” but he recently made headlines at age 90 for taking a 10-minute trip in a rocket-powered vessel to the edge of space.

In this clip, Pat Gray discussed what Shatner said to CNN’s Chris Cuomo in an interview upon his return. Shatner – is the oldest person to ever fly just beyond the earth’s atmosphere and experience weightlessness – recalled feeling deep sadness for the earth and said there should be no expense spared to pay for global warming.
