WATCH: SNL Airs Extremely Strange and Awkward ‘Clown Abortion’ Skit

US

This weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live featured an extremely strange and uncomfortable segment about clown abortions.

Actress Cecily Strong played “Goober the Clown” who described getting a “clown abortion” when she was 22-years-old.

The bit was apparently taking aim at the Texas Heartbeat Act.

Did you know that one in three clowns will have an abortion in her lifetime?” the clown asked.

“I need you to laugh so hard, like the way I laughed when the doctor asked if I got pregnant on my way over to the clinic because I wasn’t very far along,” she adds. “Not like a funny-haha joke, but like, in a funny, you’re not an awful person and your life isn’t over joke. A-honka honka!”

The skit went on to to discuss how clowns will sit around and talk about their abortions.

“The last thing anyone wants is a bunch of dead clowns in an alley,” she concluded.
