A viral video shows a pair of brutal attacks that took place outside a Staten Island-area high school on Monday.
The attack saw two students unsuccessfully face off against their attackers.
At least one of the teens was reportedly pistol-whipped during the attack, which was filmed by gleeful, cackling bystanders.

The attack took place outside Susan Wagner High School as students waited for busing to transport them to their after-school destinations.
Witnesses said that two young males reportedly jumped out of a parked vehicle and embarked on a merciless attack on two students as they waited for the bus.
Video of the incident showed the victims attempting to break free of their attackers, as one of the boys — identified as a 16-year-old student at the school — tried to defend himself.
The 16-year-old was unable to fend off his attacker, and a report from the New York Post said that a suspect pulled out what appeared to be a black firearm to pistol-whip the teen as he lay on the ground.
A second attack took place simultaneously next to the first, and video showed a suspect stomping a student while the student was cowering on the ground in an attempt to escape the blows, which prompted bystanders to break out into laughter.
At one point, a bystander was heard saying, “He’s dead, bro, he’s [a] dead body.”
Emergency responders transported the 16-year-old to a local hospital, where he was treated for a deep laceration to his head and bruises.
Authorities have not arrested any suspects in connection with the attacks.

A spokesperson for the department of education said that the aggressors were not students.
A statement said, “Ensuring our students can safely travel to and from school is the top priority of both the DOE and NYPD, and this deeply disturbing incident involving two individuals from outside the school community is unacceptable. We are working closely with the NYPD to identify the perpetrators and we are providing the victims with support.”
