Twitter lifts ban on MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell: ‘Thank you Elon Musk!’

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell returned to Twitter after being banned under the previous regime at the popular social media platform.

“I’m back!! Thank you @elonmusk and by the way MELT DOWN THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES AND TURN THEM INTO PRISON BARS!” he tweeted Friday.

Lindell was originally banned permanently in January 2021 over his repeated claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Twitter released a statement
explaining the suspension at the time.

“The account you referenced has been permanently suspended due to repeated violations of our Civic Integrity Policy,” they said.

Lindell is an avid supporter of former President Donald Trump, and he has used his wealth to finance legal challenges to the official election results in numerous states. His claims led to Dominion Voting Systems filing a $1.3 billion lawsuit against Lindell, in which they claimed he was using the campaign as marketing to sell more pillows.

Lindell vowed to create his own social media platform after being banned and said that “Frank Speech” was going to be a combination of Twitter and YouTube.

In May, he attempted to evade the permanent ban by
opening a different Twitter account, but that was immediately banned after a journalist alerted the company of his efforts.

In response to the Dominion lawsuit, Lindell has said that he welcomes the opportunity to present the evidence he says proves that “China and other countries used their machines to steal the election.”

The pillow entrepreneur most recently made headlines when he announced a campaign to become the next chairperson of the Republican National Committee over the current chair, Ronna McDaniel, who had been previously endorsed by Trump.

Editorial note: In the interest of full disclosure, MyPillow is a current advertiser on a program that appears on BlazeTV.
