After a 20-year-old man allegedly shot dead the mother of his 2-year-old daughter in a Florida Home Depot last week, investigators are now saying the suspect’s mother helped him plan the murder.

Keith Agee is charged with first-degree premeditated murder and aggravated battery after deputies said he fatally shot 18-year-old Brooklyn Sims, reportedly the mother of his 2-year-old daughter, WEAR-TV said.
Sims was working in the Davis Highway store in Pensacola at the time of the shooting, the station said, adding that two others were wounded.
Then on Monday night the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 50-year-old Sheila Agee — the mother of Keith Agee, WEAR noted. She was arrested in Washington County, Alabama, will be extradited to Escambia County, and is facing charges of first-degree murder, principal, the station said.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said text messages between Keith Agee and Sheila Agee indicate she “helped him coordinate the murder” and that she “participated in the plan to kill Brooklyn Sims” — particularly by helping her son locate the victim.
Sheriff Chip W. Simmons said “the murder itself is unbelievable, but to know the mother knew about it and helped coordinate it is incomprehensible.”
‘If you don’t come kill her you a mf b**ch’
Among the alleged texts from Sheila Agee to her son include, “If you don’t come kill her you a mf b**ch” and “Don’t shoot at my mf car I don’t want to die,” according to the post on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.
The following are all the alleged texts between Keith Agee and Sheila Agee “just prior to the homicide” that the sheriff’s office included in its post:
Keith Agee: “Shi ain’t do nun but cost me money and gave me a ******* I’m fin just shoot her Ik I hate that for [daughter] buh like I said I can’t take it idgaf Nomo.”
Sheila Agee: “Ok.”
Sheila Agee: “Ok I’ll call you and tell you mf if you want to go to jail I’ll tell you when we get close but if you don’t come kill her you a mf b**ch.”
Sheila Agee: “Don’t call nanny and tell her she will try and talk you out of it.”
Keith Agee: “Ian even gon tell her y I left.” “I’m just say I gotta go to the dentist.”
Sheila Agee: “Don’t even go there she won’t know you left.” “Don’t shoot at my mf car I don’t want to die.”
Keith Agee: “I’m not”
Sheila Agee: “Wait till I put her out.”
Keith Agee: “I was gon wait till she got out.”
Sheila Agee: “Ok.”
Keith Agee: “Buh that’s another thing if she don’t get out that car momma and I have to drag her out or can’t ima ask u to step out Cuz I’m open the door jus shoot her.”
Sheila Agee: “As long as you don’t shoot me.”
Sheila Agee: “Hell if you getting off work now I’ll give you the address here and you can ride over here and do it so you don’t have to do it in front of [daughter].”

Keith Agee: “All I want is that address momma I’m done tlkin I done tlked enough Ik wats gonna happen and I’m ok with that I done already been thinkin it thru and this the only way for me idk why u so quick to start shi wit me buh again must be scared of Brooklyn or sum idk.”
Keith Agee: “She gon be onna floor right?”
Sheila Agee: “waiting on you”
Keith Agee: “I’m saying I’m gone have to find her in the back or sum?”
Sheila Agee: “Nope”
Keith Agee: “Ok”
Keith Agee: “Stay out my way”

Sheila Agee: “Ok whatever Idc do what you do idgaf. Cause I’m going home today not to hell or to jail.”
Keith Agee: “good for u”
Sheila Agee: “Ok then stop texting me I’m working. Do whatever you want to do. It don’t affect me either f***ing way.”

Keith Agee told deputies he started off his day by going to work in Mount Vernon, Alabama, WEAR said, citing an arrest report, adding that he then received a call from a local medical office before driving to Pensacola and shooting Sims.
Keith Agee called 911 shortly after the shooting, turned himself in, and was being held in Escambia County Jail without bond, WEAR reported.
