Whitlock: Jacksonville shooting provides Joe Biden opportunity to camouflage the bigotry of progressives

News & Politics

There’s nothing leftists love more than dead black people and white killers.

That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised if President Joe Biden suggested the Dollar General store in Jacksonville be converted into a Planned Parenthood clinic. Biden and his supporters could build a statue commemorating the evil of Ryan Palmeter, the 21-year-old murderer who gunned down three black people.

Make no mistake, Joe Biden loves Ryan Palmeter, a professed racist. Palmeter allows Biden and his surrogates to cast themselves as racial justice warriors, men and women brave enough to confront the scourge of white supremacy.

A recent Fox News poll indicated that Biden and the Democratic Party are bleeding black voter support. Biden received 91% of the black vote in 2020. According to the Fox poll, he’s on schedule to dip to 61% in 2024. Those numbers will justify the DNC in replacing Old Joe with Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom.

That’s why Biden is quite pleased that Palmeter opened fire at Dollar General. The president can now pretend that he and the Democratic Party are all that stand between black Americans and a return to 1823.

“Even as we continue searching for answers, we must say clearly and forcefully that white supremacy has no place in America,” Biden said in a statement. “We must refuse to live in a country where black families going to the store or black students going to school live in fear of being gunned down because of the color of their skin. Hate must have no safe harbor. Silence is complicity and we must not remain silent.”

You have to wonder whether Biden’s cheap talk will help his poll numbers with black voters. He released the statement so that corporate media could juxtapose Biden’s explicit condemnation of white supremacy with whatever Republican presidential candidates say about Jacksonville.

Nothing Biden said is sincere.

Yes, Ryan Palmeter was motivated by racism. But there is no pandemic of white bigots gunning down black people. You know that. The FBI knows that. Biden knows it. No rational black person is walking around a college campus or Dollar General worrying about a white mass shooter.

What we legitimately fear are black gangs and fatherless young boys with no emotional control. We have conversations about that fear regularly. We listen to our parents and elders complain about neighborhood violence all the time. They mention the Crips, the Bloods, Gangster Disciples, and Vice Lords. The KKK is never mentioned. White supremacy is never mentioned.

White supremacy is a constant topic in college classrooms, on cable news, and throughout social media – environments dominated by leftists.

What happened in Jacksonville is outside the norm. Everybody knows it, including Jemele Hill, the polarizing writer for the Atlantic. Hill spent much of her Sunday attempting to elevate the Jacksonville shooting into proof that America is unrepentantly racist and doomed.

“Please note the Jacksonville gunman was in his early 20s,” she posted on X. “Implying that racism will simply evaporate after a certain generation is foolish and naive. It also absolves people from having to do any real work. Racism + white supremacy are thriving problems in our society that are not limited to age or generation.”

Promoting “white supremacy” is Jemele’s career. Hill, Michael Eric Dyson, Al Sharpton, Joy Reid, and many other black pundits rely on the existence of racism to remain valuable in the media. Racism fuels their bank account. Colleges cut five-figure checks for people like Hill to visit campus and discuss the horrors of racist microaggressions. Cable news networks give them a stipend to paint Donald Trump and Republicans as the root of all evil.

Their most important job, however, is to eulogize dead black men killed by white men. They sit by police scanners praying for the next George Zimmerman or Darren Wilson or Derek Chauvin or Dylann Roof. Given that we’re now officially in an election cycle, Ryan Palmeter might knock someone off the Black Lives Matter Mt. Rushmore of white killers.

Jemele Hill, a Detroit native, will never be asked to comment on the countless black-on-black murders that occur in her hometown. Hill, who fancies herself as an enemy of white supremacy, will never spot the bigotry of black women accounting for roughly 40% of all abortions.

She’s a leftist. Dead black babies are a net positive for leftists. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and a racist, is a hero to progressives.

Anti-black racism exists and is very harmful. Joe Biden, Jemele Hill, and leftists cleverly hide their anti-black agenda by pointing to Ryan Palmeter, Dylann Roof, and Derek Chauvin.
