REID: GOP Only Wants Book Bans, Forced Births, Harassing LGBTQ People & Guns

On Thursday’s The ReidOut on MSNBC, host Joy Reid once again decided to viciously attack the Republican Party over their support of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. In an unhinged rant, she claimed Republicans “don’t actually do anything” except block what she describes as “sensible gun reform.”

The bitterly partisan host whined that “today’s Republican Party doesn’t actually stand for much except banning books, turning women into state-mandated incubators, targeting the LGBTQ community, and mass deportation, oh yeah, and guns!”

“You have to prove that you love guns, that guns are the precious in order to get anywhere in the party” Reid proclaimed. Adding “how else are they gonna get the NRA to pay their campaign expenses?”

Proving once again that she hates religious Americans (or anyone who prays for their fellow citizens during a tragedy instead of politizing it), she huffed that “when these tragedies strike and more Americans die, the best they can muster up is their thoughts and prayers as if they don’t have any power to actually do anything.”

Taking one last swipe at half the country before going to a commercial break, Reid said that “the Republican Party never changes” and “for decades they’ve consistently blocked gun reform. Opting instead to sit aside and watch the body count rise.”

JOY REID: Today’s Republican Party doesn’t actually stand for much except banning books, turning women into state-mandated incubators, targeting the LGBTQ community, and mass deportation, oh yeah, and guns! You have to prove that you love guns, that guns are the precious in order to get anywhere in the party. How else are they gonna get the NRA to pay their campaign expenses?

(…)

REID: And once elected, they don’t actually do anything except stand in the way of sensible gun reform that roughly 80 percent of Americans support, and when these tragedies strike and more Americans die, the best they can muster up is their thoughts and prayers, as if they don’t have any power to actually do anything. Or vague references to the possibility of thinking about maybe considering doing something but really planning on doing nothing cause, again, they love guns.

REID: The Republican Party never changes. For decades they’ve consistently blocked gun reform. Opting instead to sit aside and watch the body count rise. Is this time going to be any different? We’ll see!
