The White House disclosed this week that visitor logs are not kept at President Joe Biden’s private residence in Wilmington, Delaware — one of two sites where Biden improperly retained classified documents.
But the Secret Service may have visitor data, and the agency is reportedly prepared to share it with Congress.

Visitor logs became a major talking point after the White House disclosed that classified documents were discovered on at least two separate occasions at Biden’s private residence. But there are none for Biden’s Wilmington residence.
“Like every president across decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal,” said Ian Sams, spokesman for the White House Council’s Office.
But sources told Fox News that the Secret Service is prepared to divulge information on who has visited Biden’s house since it became a property that the Secret Service protects. Although the Secret Service does not maintain official visitor logs, the agency collects data on visitors to conduct security clearances.
In a statement, U.S. Secret Service chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the collection of such data but declined to comment further.
“The Secret Service does not maintain visitor logs at the private residences of protectees,” Guglielmi told Fox News. “While the Secret Service does generate law enforcement and criminal justice information records for various individuals who may come into contact with Secret Service protected sites, we are not able to comment further as this speaks to the means and methods of our protective operations.”
Whatever data the Secret Service has collected on visitors to Biden’s home will likely become an item of contention as House Republicans will almost certainly launch an investigation into Biden’s apparent mishandling of classified information.
That’s because any visitor conceivably could have accessed the documents, which were apparently not locked away.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed former U.S. attorney Robert Hur to serve as special counsel to investigate Biden’s retention of classified documents.
