Former vice president Joe Biden predicted Thursday that President Trump will attempt to delay the November general election.
“Mark my words I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can’t be held,” the presumptive Democratic nominee said during an online fundraiser. “That’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”
Biden also went on the attack against Trump’s “un-American” attempts to “undermine the election,” specifically his indication that he will not approve federal relief for the U.S. Postal Service, which has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
“Imagine threatening not to fund the post office. Now, what in God’s name is that about? Other than trying to let the word out that he’s going to do all he can to make it very hard for people to vote,” Biden said.
Trump has not weighed in on delaying the November election and would not have the power to do so on his own. He has, however, criticized voting by mail, arguing that it is a breeding ground for voter fraud.
“Mail ballots — they cheat. Okay? People cheat,” Trump said earlier this month. “There’s a lot of dishonesty going along with mail-in voting.”
Democrats have pushed for voting by mail to protect voters against having to leave their homes to vote and possibly exposing themselves to the coronavirus.
“Why should we be saying to people, ‘Stand in line for hours,’ when we don’t even want you leaving the house?” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said earlier this month.
Biden on Thursday vowed that as president he would support same-day voter registration and the Safe Elections Act as well as restore the Voting Rights Act.
More than a dozen states have either delayed their primary elections or expanded voting by mail as the pandemic continues to spread in the country. Wisconsin held its primary on April 7 after the governor’s attempt to cancel in-person voting was blocked by the state supreme court.

I predict that the election will happen on its normal date. Biden will probably whine that he did not get a fair chance to fumble his way through debates.

Biden just gave the Trump campaign all the material they need to win the election. It is well known now that while Biden was V.P., he strong-armed the then Ukrainian President to fire the prosecutor who was investigating his son within six hours or he wouldn’t get the billion dollars he was promised, “Son of a bitch, he was fired” Biden related recently to reporters and guests recently at a Council of Foreign Relations gathering.
Biden’s son was sitting on the board of Burisma Holdings which is an oil and gas company in Ukraine and getting $85,000 a month even though he had no experience in gas, oil or energy. He was obviously there to sell influence and admitted to an ABC reporter that he had no experience and was probably there because he was Joe Biden’s son. The media from CNN’s Anderson Cooper to the anchors on MSNBC immediately jumped to Biden’s defense and called the claim “unsubstantial.”
Unsubstantial ??? We have Biden admitting it on tape stating what he did.

1)Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (15USC78dd-1)
It is illegal for a U.S. person to coerce or influence through bribery, extort a foreign into taking action that might financially benefit that person, his family or business.
2) Bribery (18USC201b)
Whoever corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to a public official to influence that public official is guilty of bribery.
3) Gratuities Act (180SC201)
Giving, offering, or promising anything of value to a public official in exchange for any official act is a violation of the gratuities act.
4) Hobbs Act-Extortion (18USC 1951)
A threat to a foreign official in order to obtain an official benefit affecting interstate or foreign commerce would constitute extortion under the Hobbs act.

Biden is playing the stupid card again. There is no reason or desire for Trump to delay the election and he can’t do that anyway. Only Congress can and it better be a great reason that both the House and Senate agree on. It would not help Trump. It may well help Biden so more people, or should I say Liberals cheat on voting. The PO should not need to be bailed out again if the employees would not get a ridiculously high salary and even a higher pension! FedEx and UPS both make a profit and pay their employees well but operate cheaper than the USPO because they have a better leadership. For this reason the President should not give them billions of dollars. I also agree that absentee ballots should be used by only those who cannot report to their polling places in person and not allow party cheaters to stuff the ballot boxes with write-in votes by dead people, people who no longer vote for some reason, be they homeless, insane, or in a state of mind preventing them from voting.
Standing in line for hours to vote? I’ve been voting since 1968 and I think the longest I’ve had to wait was 20 minutes or less. Maybe there have been some instances where people have had to stand in line for a while. bit I never have in the 27 years I lived in the Dallas area.
