Columnist Paul Krugman of the New York Times is a real piece of work.
In a recent piece for the paper, he lamented the fact that so many people on the right are questioning the legitimacy of Biden’s win and goes on to say that Democrats never did that to Trump.
Of course, there are numerous examples of people calling Trump an illegitimate president, including Krugman himself.
Here’s an excerpt from his new column (emphasis added):
How Will Biden Deal With Republican Sabotage?
When Joe Biden is inaugurated, he will immediately be confronted with an unprecedented challenge — and I don’t mean the pandemic, although Covid-19 will almost surely be killing thousands of Americans every day. I mean, instead, that he’ll be the first modern U.S. president trying to govern in the face of an opposition that refuses to accept his legitimacy. And no, Democrats by and large were not claiming Donald Trump was illegitimate, just that he was incompetent and dangerous.
It goes without saying that Donald Trump, whose conspiracy theories are getting wilder and wilder, will never concede, and that millions of his followers will always believe — or at least say they believe — that the election was stolen.
To cover themselves, the New York Times added this tiny correction at the bottom of the column:

Along with considering Conservatives deplorables, they think we can’t read or that we all have Sleepy Joe’s memory problems. On the other hand, their constituents by and large are very uniformed and believe whatever they are told. Hence, “the Democrats never said President Trump was illegitimate” will be believed by many of them now despite the evidence to the contrary. Witness how many Biden voters have come forward to say they never would have voted for him if they had known ______ (fill in the blank ….. Hunter’s issues, connections to China, views on the 2nd Amendment, etc.). It’s not like these things weren’t known. It’s just that they didn’t seek sources of information other than from the activists who consider themselves “journalists” in the main stream media and the censored messages on social media and of course these low information people believed whatever they were told.
Welcome to China West. This is how things will be from now on. The voters who voted for Biden and co. had no clue as to what they were voting for. Wait until they start getting buyers remorse and can’t do anything about it. They let the devil out of the basement, now they have to live with their screwups!
The New York times are a bunch of LIARS. HILLARY called TRUMP AN ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENT.
This is what makes me angry about this whole chit show, not that Donald Trump may have lost (we’ll survive if he did as potus is a temp position) but the fact that these people seem to think that after disrespecting the office of the President, the President and all the millions of Americans that voted for him for 4 years that now the President and those that supported him are just supposed to forget all that and sit down and shut up.
