There is currently a massive military buildup near the Ukraine border. Both Russian and Ukrainian troops, tanks, and more are being shipped to the area via railroads on both sides.

Another report out 5 hours ago says that conscriptions have started for all citizens born in 1994-2003 for military service for a Russian backed separatist group:
BREAKING: The Russian backed DNR separatist group in Eastern Ukraine have started conscription for all citizens born between 1994-2003 for military service until July 2021.
