Associated Press is out with a new poll on Ukraine, and it shows that there is not much difference in partisan attitudes among the American public when it comes to the degree of U.S. engagement:

We can quibble over the wording as “minor role” and “major role” are somewhat vague. Also, clearly Democrats are more likely to support a “major role” for the U.S. than Republicans. But considering how bitterly divided the country is on most issues, the differences here are relatively small. Generally speaking, a majority of the public believes that the U.S. should play at least some role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but they are reticent to get overly involved.
