Southern border app scam

There’s a deadly influx of fentanyl being smuggled across our southern border, yet it appears to be easier than ever to get in — as long as you have an app.

In a recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Senator Josh Hawley ripped into Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the new CBP One app that’s available to migrants.

The app allows non-citizens who do not have the proper documents for admission to schedule an appointment to come to the border.

“It’s like a concierge service for illegal immigrants,” Hawley says.

He continues, “Nowhere on the app do you actually require the illegal migrants to apply for asylum or to claim asylum or anything about asylum, and in fact, when they then get to the border, you don’t ask them questions, you don’t do interviews, you just release them.”

Hawley quotes an article from Texas Monthly, “At no point does the app ask users ‘Are you seeking asylum?’ Those arriving for the CBP One appointments are given no interviews, asked no questions about vulnerabilities that they may or may not have listed in the app or about why they’re coming to the United States—they’re simply released into the country.”

Mayorkas continuously denies Hawley’s allegations, yet cannot give him any evidence along with his denial.

When Mayorkas refuses to answer a yes-or-no question, Hawley interrupts, “Mr. Secretary, you’re here to answer my questions.”

BlazeTV host Mark Levin wasn’t having it either.

“This guy sounds to me a lot like Fauci, doesn’t he?”
