Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy is back from his parental leave and he’s already making waves in the media. Late Wednesday afternoon, Doocy had an opportunity to ask President Joe Biden, during an event in New Mexico, about Devon Archer’s testimony directly implicating him in his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings by saying he was put on the phone with Hunter’s partners. As you can expect, the President was not happy with the question. In fact, he snapped at Doocy and said it was a “lousy question.”
The exchange did not air live on television but thankfully was caught on camera. Doocy went on Fox during Your World with Neil Cavuto to break the news and let viewers see the exchange.
“We got a first of it’s kind reaction to that testimony, nobody has asked President Biden yet about these allegations from a former Hunter Biden business associate that Hunter would call his dad, then the Vice President, and put him on speaker phone to chat with his business associates,” Doocy said to fill-in host Sandra Smith.
Doocy approached Biden at the end of the event and said: “There’s this testimony now where one of your son’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them talking business.”
Biden immediately got irritated and shot back: “I never talked business with anybody, and I knew you’d have a lousy question.”
“Why is that a lousy question?” Doocy asked.
Biden responded “Because it’s not true,” and then walked off.
Doocy explained to Smith that Biden’s answer to his question was in “Conflict with the sworn testimony of Devon Archer. Devon Archer went under oath to talk these speakerphone calls, some of the Democrats that came out of that room, they were listening in private said that the President was just talking about the weather, but he’s saying that they didn’t talk at all, back to you.”

DOOCY: And so he wanted to talk about the transition to a green economy, he did not want to talk about that but it does now conflict with the sworn testimony of Devon Archer.
