Body of missing Tennessee woman found in creek after being missing for two weeks: Report

The body of a missing 44-year-old woman was discovered on Saturday in Whites Creek, which is just north of Nashville, Tennessee. She had been missing for two weeks before her body was recovered, according to Fox News Digital.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department announced that Emily Bradley’s body was found in the creek around Buena Vista Pike. And the medical examiner confirmed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma, suggesting that it was a homicide.

Bradley was reportedly last seen driving her silver 2014 Chevrolet Cruze around Dickerson Pike and Heart Lane in East Nashville on February 18.

Investigators said that they picked up Bradley’s vehicle on a license plate reader around Hendersonville on February 21, but it was not clear who was driving the vehicle at that time.

The authorities also mentioned at the time that Bradley’s phone had been turned off since February 18 and had not been turned back on. When he learned of hid daughter’s disappearance, Nick Bradley traveled from Florida to post missing flyers all over.

“It’s pretty intense. It’s intensely terrible,” Nick said. “We don’t know what happened, but we think something bad has happened.”

Fox News Digital reported that Jaiya Wendall, who was apparently Bradley’s “platonic life partner,” said that her friend has “never gone five days without speaking to [her].”

The report also mentioned that Bradley did not show up for her first day at her new job. Wendall suggested that “everything in my core says that there’s something off.”

Bradley was always known to travel with her service dog, Bob Johnson. However, Bob Johnson was left at home when the woman went missing.

Judy Rose, a family friend, said: “Everybody knows when they see Emily, there’s Bob Johnson with her.”

“That’s her service animal of about 23 years. She would never leave Bob Johnson locked up in her home with no caregivers lined up.”

After it was revealed that Bradley’s body had been found, Brandie McMahan posted to Facebook, writing: “Watching Fantasia at her [Bradley’s] home when we were 14. Trying not to wake her dad. Then she made me help clean up after [her] horse the morning after a party.”

“She wasn’t afraid of hard work or getting dirty but always had such a sense of style. She never talked trash about anyone and held space. She came to bail me out of jail. And I came to bail her out. [I’m] so brokenhearted. The world is a bit dimmer now.”
